A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and an Ausschusslehrdorn. The reject side of the Gewindelehrdorn bears a red ring. The good side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand, without extra force. If not possible, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (rejected). The reject side can screw in by hand, up to two turns. Beyond that, the thread is rejected. A reference temperature of 20°C applies to workpieces and gauges. VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate upon request. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
